After receipts, invoices or other financial paperwork has been submitted to Receipt Bank, it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours to be extracted and displayed in the Inbox.
This timing can vary according to how many submissions we've received. Typically it takes around 30 minutes. At peak times, it can take a few hours for a document to be processed.
This is because after being uploaded, all submitted items are added to a processing queue. The queue can be longer or shorter, depending on how many people are submitting their paperwork at the time.
During this time, you can view uploaded items in the 'In Processing' tab of the Inbox.
If you are short on time and want your item available immediately then you are able to move one item or all your items to the Inbox and manually complete the extraction process:
To speed up the process we also offer a 'Boost' functionality that takes processing items and skips them forward in the queue. Read more about Boost here.
