If you have a multicurrency Xero account, you can choose whether to publish items in your account's Base Currency or in the currency that the transaction took place in.
Note: this feature is only available for Streamline, Optimize, Business Plus, and Premium Receipt Bank accounts. Find out more about the different Receipt Bank products here.
To activate multi-currency publishing:
- Click on 'Connections' on the main menu tab to the left
- Click on 'Integration'
- Turn the 'Publish multiple currencies' setting switch to 'ON'.
If this setting is turned to 'OFF', Receipt Bank will convert each transaction into your account's Base Currency before publishing it to Xero.
You can view and change the Base Currency of an account from the 'Account Details' tab of the 'Account Settings' screen.
