After you've submitted a document to Receipt Bank, our automated extraction engine will identify all of the key information and present it in an easily-manageable format, perfect for downloading or processing with a connected accounting software.
We use OCR and templating technology to extract written information (on receipts, invoices or other financial documents), and present the visible data in an electronic, easy-to-manage format; perfect for publishing on to other accounting software.
Receipt Bank extracts the:
- Original document image
- Type of document; whether it's a receipt, sales invoice, credit note, etc.
- Document Date
- Tax Amount
- Invoice Number
- Payment Method (for Business Plus and Business Premium plans)
We are constantly improving our machine learning processes to further increase the accuracy and speed of data extraction. All data is protected by a 256-bit security code.
In some cases, we'll use a human team to check the quality of our data extraction.
After Receipt Bank has processed a document, you can check and edit the associated data from the Item Details page.
An image of the document and its associated data will be kept on file for a minimum of 10 years. Feel free to throw away that receipt; Receipt Bank will always have you covered for compliance and keep your financial documents securely stored online, where they can be shared with your colleagues, accountant or bookkeeper.
